In 1988 I took my first steps as a percussionist with the Starriders Drum & Bugle Corps near Hannover. Later on, in addition to various national and international titles, I won the "Snare Drum Champion" title at the DCG individual competitions twice.

 

In 2000, I fulfilled a little dream and moved to North America for half a year to perform with "Kiwanis Kavaliers Drum & Bugle Corps" in the DCI (Drum Corps International) Championships. Currently I am active in Munich in various orchestras and play in my own band.

 

My studies as a drummer started in 2005 at the Vocational School of Music in Bad Königshofen. My subsequent study of music with Arnold F. Riedhammer until 2010/2011 concluded with the artistic and educational degree at the University of Music and Performing Arts Munich.

 

My work at educational establishments since 2010 includes the Brass Orchestra Höhenkirchen, the Music Forum Blutenburg, the local music school Munich and the Musikum in Salzburg. I have also been a teacher, lecturer and arranger for workshops and various music groups since 1995.

 

MY PREMISE IS "Everything we do must follow a natural movement " 

 

This principle I teach successfully in various areas of Percussion , whether classical, drum set , electronic, Marching- or small percussion . 

 

I would be happy to support and prepare you for entrance exams, band performances, working with orchestral arrangements or the like.
